I graduated from the University of Victoria in 2008 with a BA in creative non-fiction writing and a minor in professional writing.
My career has taken me through a variety of positions in the communications world—from author support at internationally known Trafford Publishing, to running and managing a state-of-the-art Espresso Book Machine at UVic, to editing Victoria’s lifestyle magazine Boulevard, to editing materials for Canadian direct sales company Epicure. Today, I am a marketing communications specialist with Carmanah Technologies, crafting articles, social media posts, and project summaries about sustainable solar-powered solutions for the traffic and outdoor lighting industries.
A Vancouver native, I spent many years in Victoria, BC, and now have ventured north to Terrace, BC, where I enjoy relaxing at Lakelse Lake, finding treasures at the local farmers’ market, and reading from my ever-growing stack of books and magazines.
