About this project:
June 2013 was my first “true” issue of Boulevard; it was the first issue I planned and saw through to completion. We decided to do a big food feature that included stories about local food culture (written by the talented Cinda Chavich) and a fun survey that polled chefs around town about everything from their views on kale to their favourite dishes to make at home. I handled the chef survey, contacting chefs, compiling answers and curating the results into a fun story that revealed a little about Victoria’s diverse food culture.
